Spectators: 6656 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jimeno Colas kicked off to start the match. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Guaberto Nisio put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Fidel Mendebal. After 14 played minutes Minacar got a freekick which was hit by Braulio Basualdo. In the 17th minute of the match, Jimeno Colas tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Andres Perrando saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Filiberto Berbiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Fidel Mendebal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Filiberto Berbiz in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fidel Mendebal saved Minacar from getting behind. 26 minutes into the game, Alejo Piearres was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. NapoleonFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Minacar the free kick. In the 27th minute, Alejo Piearres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jimeno Colas in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andres Perrando saved NapoleonFC from getting behind. Andres Perrando made an important save on a dangerous shot by Florencio Monico in the 33rd minute. After 34 played minutes NapoleonFC got a freekick which was hit by Eugenio Txartiko. If Florencio Monico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 39 minutes into the match, Minacar's Jimeno Colas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andres Perrando narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Oscar Paulin fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Minacar's protests and gave Oscar Paulin a yellow card for diving instead. Norberto Urre took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 46th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fidel Mendebal. Minacar's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Filiberto Berbiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fidel Mendebal having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Guaberto Nisio to make the kick off. Fidel Mendebal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guaberto Nisio in the 56th minute of play. Florencio Monico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andres Perrando having to interfere. Florencio Monico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Andres Perrando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind NapoleonFC's goalkeeper Andres Perrando, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fidel Mendebal made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Filiberto Berbiz sent off a good shot on target. In the 71st match minute, Minacar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jimeno Colas to maneuver through the defense. If Guaberto Nisio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Norberto Urre hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 79th minute, Jimeno Colas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 85th minute Guaberto Nisio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fidel Mendebal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 89 minutes, Jimeno Colas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Minacar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jimeno Colas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
