Lucas Elequemedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alejo Piearres in the 3rd minute of the match. Andres Perrando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Ermano in the 5th minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, Saturnino Vedillo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Andres Perrando. NapoleonFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Saturnino Vedillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 11 minutes into the game, M.A. Reinicio's Robustiano Gustau nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Andres Perrando made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Andres Perrando didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Enrique Betadur went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Saturnino Vedillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Andres Perrando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 24 played minutes NapoleonFC got a freekick which was hit by Guaberto Nisio. After having played for 37 minutes, Saturnino Vedillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. M.A. Reinicio's supporters crossed their fingers, but Saturnino Vedillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Andres Perrando stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Saturnino Vedillo's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. The M.A. Reinicio fans' excitement grew in the 41st match minute when M.A. Reinicio's Saturnino Vedillo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Enrique Betadur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

NapoleonFC's Andres Perrando proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save NapoleonFC from getting a goal against them. In the 69th match minute, NapoleonFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alejo Piearres to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 74 minutes, the score became 0-6 when Saturnino Vedillo sped through NapoleonFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Andres Perrando. When Maximino Confesor came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the M.A. Reinicio fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maximino Confesor couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saturnino Vedillo in the 79th minute of play forced NapoleonFC's goalkeeper Andres Perrando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute, Ivan Ermano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Saturnino Vedillo in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andres Perrando saved NapoleonFC from getting behind. Saturnino Vedillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andres Perrando having to interfere.
