After 8 minutes, Severiano Txatxu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deheza FC and the Lugano players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Lugano booed when Deheza FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severiano Txatxu didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Victorio Rami had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Esteve Oliviero made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 13thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Dario Llorenc would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Hector Geleberto's late challenge caught a Lugano's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Victorio Rami showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. After a rather tough play, Deheza FC's Hector Geleberto got a free kick in the 37th minute. Esteve Oliviero in the 42ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dario Llorenc, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Dario Llorenc was a little too slow when Silvano Taurino got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 45th minute. The score was now 5-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Victorio Rami stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Leandro Lia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Severo Cordario got free with Humberto Jaen in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Esteve Oliviero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dario Llorenc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorio Rami in the 81st minute of play.
