Evaristo Urtzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lino Marin charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lino Marin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chivo F.C.'s goalkeeper Evaristo Urtzi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 35 played minutes Chivo F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Florencio Oliviero. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lucas Guillelmus stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alberto Elizardo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carolo Eleazar in the 62nd minute. In the 100th minute, Rolando Rico reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alberto Elizardo. The goal made the score 1-2. The Chivo F.C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Chivo F.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
