Donato Leobardo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arnoldo Vitin's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. In the 16th minute Arnoldo Vitin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donato Leobardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Cayetano Pudes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Estudiantes's supporters rose to their feet, but Cayetano Pudes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Donato Leobardo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Severino Azeari charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Cayetano Pudes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Donato Leobardo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rosendo Bermudo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Domingos Firme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rosendo Bermudo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingos Firme having to interfere. A collision led to Estudiantes getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Conrado Stanislao hit a great ball. Paranacito's Donato Leobardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cayetano Pudes in the 40th minute of play. Arnoldo Vitin took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Donato Leobardo. Donato Leobardo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arnoldo Vitin was the one to do the kick off. Donato Leobardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnoldo Vitin in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 57th minute, Valentin Quilino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Valentin Quilino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Domingos Firme was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rosendo Bermudo in the 63rd minute of play forced Estudiantes's goalkeeper Domingos Firme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paranacito's Rosendo Bermudo got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Estudiantes's Domingos Firme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Quilino in the 86th minute of play. After having played for 87 minutes, Arnoldo Vitin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Estudiantes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnoldo Vitin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Froilan Berriotxoa managed to get in a good position for a shot.
