An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnoldo Vitin in the 24th minute of play forced Moreno FC's goalkeeper Justo Mano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnoldo Vitin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Justo Mano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Estudiantes's goal looked a bit too open when Eleuterio Arce came free, but Domingos Firme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Moreno FC booed when Estudiantes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaime Pirmin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Damaso Fonso scored 2-2 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Domingos Firme, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Damaso Fonso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Moreno FC's Eleuterio Arce got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
