In the 21st minute, Sergio Estebe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nunez Abecia took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 28th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Braulio Toli. Club Atletico Correa's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Sergio Estebe scored 1-2 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Braulio Toli, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 34 minutes of play, Amelong F.C's Sergio Estebe made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Braulio Toli was left in no man's land by his defense there! Braulio Toli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergio Estebe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teofilo Rodriguez kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 45th minute of the game. One of Club Atletico Correa:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Amelong F.C:s goal. The referee gave Amelong F.C a penalty, 47 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Celestino Favila, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Club Atletico Correa's Braulio Toli. 1-4. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ramon Ireno to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atletico Correa's zone, Ramon Ireno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Braulio Toli came out of the goal and Ramon Ireno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A hard shot by Nunez Abecia from long distance, 61 minutes into the match, got Braulio Toli's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 62 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Correa's goal looked a bit too open when Ramon Ireno came free, but Braulio Toli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ramon Ireno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Club Atletico Correa defense, Sergio Estebe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Braulio Toli. The Club Atletico Correa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Braulio Toli should have stopped the shot. Daniel Bakar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adan Gonzo went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-6 was the resulting score. Daniel Bakar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adan Gonzo, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Sergio Estebe did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-7 to the left of a surprised Braulio Toli 81 minutes into the match. Braulio Toli didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ramon Ireno went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-8 was the resulting score. The supporters of Club Atletico Correa booed when Amelong F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Froilan Igon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amelong F.C's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
