When Damian Fernanco came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Ferrocarril Sud de Tandil fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damian Fernanco couldn't finish the play. 28 minutes in the game, Damian Fernanco fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Tiburcio Cordarrol having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Ferrocarril Sud de Tandil's Damian Fernanco slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tiburcio Cordarrol. That made the score 1-0 after 32 minutes of play. Tiburcio Cordarrol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian Fernanco in the 38th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Damian Fernanco managed to get in a good position for a shot.
