Seating: 1668, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Melquiades Maiorga got the match started through his kick off. 2 minutes into the game, Enrique Ostots was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bonnement's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Colón de Santa Fe the free kick. After 3 played minutes Bonnement got a freekick which was hit by Enrique Ostots. Through an outstanding action, after 5 minutes, Celso Garin successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Cristobal Locaio came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Bonnement fans jumped to their feet. Jorge Franco hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. When Eulalio Laurentzi came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Colón de Santa Fe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eulalio Laurentzi couldn't finish the play. When Guido Hermelando fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bonnement's protests and gave Guido Hermelando a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Colón de Santa Fe booed when Bonnement was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guido Hermelando didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Eulalio Laurentzi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Celso Garin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 1-0 became the score in the 41st minute when Cristobal Locaio elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cristobal Locaio to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Colón de Santa Fe getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Arnaldo Garcia hit a great ball. Celso Garin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gavino Tancredo in the 52nd minute of play. Eulalio Laurentzi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Robustiano Satordi made a huge save. If Melquiades Maiorga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 65 minutes into the game, one of Bonnement:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After a rather tough play, Bonnement's Jorge Franco got a free kick in the 71st minute. Tomas Madeo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Melquiades Maiorga kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Robustiano Satordi.
