The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The Quemeros FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Perchel's Santos Jaizki got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Amador Moise made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Omar Stanislao in the 29th minute of play. After having played for 45 minutes, Niceto Izotz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quemeros FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Niceto Izotz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Omar Stanislao had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vladimiro Hulberto's late challenge caught a Quemeros FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Omar Stanislao to strike the kick off in the second half. Omar Stanislao recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Amador Moise made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Omar Stanislao in the 73rd minute of play. Amador Moise showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niceto Izotz in the 74th minute of the match. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Perchel's goalkeeper Amador Moise, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Perchel's zone, Omar Stanislao stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amador Moise came out of the goal and Omar Stanislao tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Quemeros FC played a much better game than Perchel and deserved their victory. The Perchel players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
