Spectators: 7088 (Terracing: 5425, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 0) Redondo's Cirilo Chago started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Through an outstanding action, after 3 minutes, Juan Paskal successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Olmos's zone, Domingos Otsando stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan Paskal came out of the goal and Domingos Otsando tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vladimiro Nerio struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Desiderio Maurino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Olmos. When Domingos Otsando came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Redondo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Domingos Otsando couldn't finish the play. If Cirilo Chago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Domingos Otsando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Paskal having to interfere. After having played for 20 minutes, Cirilo Chago managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Redondo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cirilo Chago was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Redondo getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Domingos Otsando hit a great ball. A hard shot 26 in the game by Domingos Otsando from a close distance when the talented Juan Paskal managed to make a qualified save. Olmos's players were relieved. Cirilo Chago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Juan Paskal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cirilo Chago recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Domingos Otsando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Juan Paskal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Domingos Otsando reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Juan Paskal. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 46th minute, Rogelio Oliveiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rogelio Oliveiro was the one to do the kick off. Rogelio Oliveiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Desiderio Maurino having to interfere. The supporters of Olmos booed when Redondo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jairo Luzaide didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 58 played minutes Redondo got a freekick which was hit by Elpidio Pacho. Rogelio Oliveiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juan Paskal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cirilo Chago, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Redondo's Domingos Otsando got a free kick in the 67th minute. After 72 played minutes, Olmos's Gerardo Primo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Desiderio Maurino came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Olmos reached it. A collision led to Redondo getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Elpidio Pacho hit a great ball. In the 86th minute, one of Redondo:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Redondo.
