A very good chance. Basilio Montel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Raul Sotil's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. After having played for 18 minutes, Casimiro Cordaryal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Riquelme F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Casimiro Cordaryal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in A.C. Vigal's zone, Casimiro Cordaryal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Basilio Montel came out of the goal and Casimiro Cordaryal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, A.C. Vigal's Juan Etxepare got a free kick in the 21st minute. 22 minutes into the match, Riquelme F.C.'s Donato Kauldi broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 24 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for A.C. Vigal! Donato Kauldi walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Leonides Dodorol recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gabriel Oalo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaston Bastian, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 40th minute, Leonides Dodorol got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Casimiro Cordaryal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Riquelme F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Casimiro Cordaryal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Basilio Montel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, A.C. Vigal's Arturo Gaztea got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Gabriel Oalo made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Leonides Dodorol sent off a good shot on target. In the 48th minute of the match Abelardo Goren sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Basilio Montel skillfully saved the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Raul Sotil made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Casimiro Cordaryal got free with Basilio Montel in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gabriel Oalo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaston Bastian in the 61st minute of play. In the 66th minute, A.C. Vigal's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Raul Sotil fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Gaston Bastian recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 73rd minute of the match Bruno Esquipula sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gabriel Oalo skillfully saved the ball. In the 75th minute, Maximino Lluterio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rodrigo Havier was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 76th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The supporters of A.C. Vigal booed when Riquelme F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Gelacio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gabriel Oalo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaston Bastian in the 79th minute of the match. In the 90th minute, Casimiro Cordaryal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Basilio Montel was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Riquelme F.C.'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
