Salvador Padro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 4thth minute tested the skills of Benjamin Chuan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Virgilio Diegotxe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Benjamin Chuan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Salvador Padro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Chuan having to interfere. The Legends's Aldo Oriche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeo Nerio in the 27th minute of play. Erasmo Rivero kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Virgilio Diegotxe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Chuan having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Salvador Padro managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Legends's supporters rose to their feet, but Salvador Padro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benjamin Chuan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 44th minute, Erasmo Rivero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Legends's Dalmacio Nisio couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 45th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Alagón. Benjamin Chuan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgilio Diegotxe in the 46th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Virgilio Diegotxe made a kick off. When Tadeo Nerio fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alagón's protests and gave Tadeo Nerio a yellow card for diving instead. Tadeo Nerio kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. After 57 played minutes Alagón got a freekick which was hit by Erasmo Rivero. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Virgilio Diegotxe managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Legends's supporters rose to their feet, but Virgilio Diegotxe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 83rd minute Virgilio Diegotxe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Chuan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Virgilio Diegotxe took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benjamin Chuan. Benjamin Chuan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. If Virgilio Diegotxe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the The Legends players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
