The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Racing Club booed when The Legends was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victorio Silviano didn't get a good kick on the ball. 5 minutes into the match, Racing Club's Hector Javiar broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Amador Anaya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virgilio Diegotxe, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Salvador Padro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amador Anaya having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Virgilio Diegotxe in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amador Anaya saved Racing Club from getting behind. 13 minutes into the game, Alfonso Lizar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Racing Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Legends the free kick. Alfonso Lizar hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Racing Club's Amador Anaya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorio Silviano in the 18th minute of play. Dalmacio Nisio charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dalmacio Nisio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, The Legends's Dalmacio Nisio got a free kick in the 20th minute. The supporters of The Legends booed when Racing Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ubaldo Ubelteso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when The Legends's Virgilio Diegotxe in the 24th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Amador Anaya was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Racing Club through an amazing save. 32 minutes into the game, Salvador Padro lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Amador Anaya. Racing Club's Amador Anaya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Virgilio Diegotxe in the 40th minute of play. Amador Anaya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victorio Silviano, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Salvador Padro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Amador Anaya made a huge save. Amador Anaya made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Salvador Padro sent off a good shot on target. Ubaldo Elizardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aldo Oriche having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Virgilio Diegotxe to strike the kick off in the second half. If Virgilio Diegotxe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Virgilio Diegotxe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amador Anaya having to interfere. Aristides Cesario kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. After having played for 65 minutes, Salvador Padro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Legends's supporters crossed their fingers, but Salvador Padro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Salvador Padro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Virgilio Diegotxe came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the The Legends fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Virgilio Diegotxe couldn't finish the play. In the 70th match minute, Racing Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aristides Cesario to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Ubaldo Elizardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Racing Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Ubaldo Elizardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aldo Oriche breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Virgilio Diegotxe struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Amador Anaya didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Legends. After some careless play in the Racing Club defense, Salvador Padro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Amador Anaya. The Racing Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amador Anaya should have stopped the shot. Amador Anaya came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by The Legends's Salvador Padro. But to his dismay, Salvador Padro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. When Victorio Silviano came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the The Legends fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victorio Silviano couldn't finish the play. Salvador Padro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Amador Anaya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfonso Lizar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aldo Oriche read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. There was no doubt that The Legends were the better team. The Legends's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
