Sola FC's Benigno Bermund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonel Satordi in the 31st minute of play. If Erubiel Laurgain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 35 minutes into the game, Gaspar Lawrence was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sola FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave All Pink the free kick. Diego Liberto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anier Refugio in the 41st minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leonel Satordi to strike the kick off in the second half. All Pink were awarded a corner in the 56th minute after Sola FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eliseo Polentzi took the corner. The corner ended in Eliseo Polentzi almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Sola FC's Benigno Bermund did a great save.
