Amador Anaya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ubaldo Ubelteso kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Natalio Rafel in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amador Anaya saved Racing Club from getting behind. Natalio Rafel struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Amador Anaya didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Godoy AFC. 10 minutes into the match, Racing Club's goal looked a bit too open when Natalio Rafel came free, but Amador Anaya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Natalio Rafel in the 12th minute of play forced Racing Club's goalkeeper Amador Anaya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 14 minutes of play, Godoy AFC's Natalio Rafel made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Amador Anaya was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 21 minutes, Ubaldo Elizardo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Racing Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ubaldo Elizardo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 23 minutes into the match, Racing Club's goal looked a bit too open when Tobias Orlanda came free, but Amador Anaya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tobias Orlanda in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amador Anaya prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 29th minute of the match Godoy AFC got a corner. Racing Club's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marco Urbez ran over to the corner to take the kick. Godoy AFC's Tobias Orlanda was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Amador Anaya in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Natalio Rafel in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amador Anaya prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Amador Anaya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tobias Orlanda in the 37th minute of the match. 42 minutes into the match, Racing Club's goal looked a bit too open when Natalio Rafel came free, but Amador Anaya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 43 minutes, Horacio Lorencio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Godoy AFC and the Racing Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. Horacio Lorencio kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Godoy AFC's Fausto Quintan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Godoy AFC from getting a goal against them.

The wind increased when Natalio Rafel made the kick off in the second half. Ubaldo Elizardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Amador Anaya managed to avoid a goal in the 58thth minute, when Godoy AFC's Tobias Orlanda fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Natalio Rafel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amador Anaya having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Natalio Rafel in the 63rd minute of play forced Racing Club's goalkeeper Amador Anaya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Ubaldo Elizardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Racing Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Ubaldo Elizardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fausto Quintan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Alfonso Lizar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The attack was good, but when Horacio Lorencio in the 70th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. 73 minutes into the match, Godoy AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ubaldo Elizardo came free, but Fausto Quintan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute of the game, Danilo Gaskon landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aristides Cesario during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Aristides Cesario kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 79th minute of the match Godoy AFC got a corner. Racing Club's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marco Urbez ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Godoy AFC's Marco Urbez to fire away a dangerous shot which Amador Anaya despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Natalio Rafel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amador Anaya having to interfere. Tobias Orlanda who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 84thth minute tested the skills of Amador Anaya when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Alfonso Lizar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 93rd minute, Ubaldo Elizardo made a precise shot to the right of Fausto Quintan. Godoy AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
