The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Clodoveo Macerio during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 13th minute, Bruno Cresitobalo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Matador de Victoria's zone, Placido Efren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Geronimo Isadore came out of the goal and Placido Efren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Geronimo Isadore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Placido Efren in the 19th minute of the match. Placido Efren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Matador de Victoria booed when Las Heras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Ixidor didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th minute, Matador de Victoria's Tiburcio Santio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Esteve Orlo. Esteve Orlo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Geronimo Isadore took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simon Franco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pablo Mattin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Filomeno Millan fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Las Heras's protests and gave Filomeno Millan a yellow card for diving instead. 55 minutes into the match, Matador de Victoria's goal looked a bit too open when Placido Efren came free, but Geronimo Isadore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Pablo Mattin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rosendo Birjaio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Esteve Orlo having to make a save. 77 minutes into the match, Matador de Victoria's goalkeeper Geronimo Isadore had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Enrique Illart. Esteve Orlo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rosendo Birjaio in the 79th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Las Heras's zone, Rosendo Birjaio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Esteve Orlo came out of the goal and Rosendo Birjaio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Las Heras players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Matador de Victoria.
