Niceto Cucao's late challenge caught a Compota FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Niceto Cucao helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Barrancas's Godfredo Gaizkine got a free kick in the 20th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Barrancas's zone, Jonatan Sotil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lisandro Ekhi came out of the goal and Jonatan Sotil tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 24 minutes into the game, Compota FC's Jonatan Sotil nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lisandro Ekhi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Compota FC's Mauricio Santo shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 29th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Lisandro Ekhi but with some difficulty. After a defensive mix-up in Barrancas's zone, Jonatan Sotil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lisandro Ekhi came out of the goal and Jonatan Sotil tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alejo Javiero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Leon Oidor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Compota FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Leon Oidor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lisandro Ekhi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jonatan Sotil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lisandro Ekhi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonatan Sotil, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Leon Oidor hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Compota FC's Leon Oidor got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Barrancas's Lisandro Ekhi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Barrancas from getting a goal against them.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alejo Javiero to make the kick off. If Leon Oidor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 54th minute Jonatan Sotil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lisandro Ekhi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonatan Sotil struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Lisandro Ekhi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Compota FC. Leon Oidor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 62 minutes into the match, Compota FC's Jonatan Sotil sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lisandro Ekhi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Compota FC's Leon Oidor got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alejo Javiero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leonides Txerran read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. In the 71st minute Leon Oidor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lisandro Ekhi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 75 played minutes, Compota FC's Bernabe Mikelats shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lisandro Ekhi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Compota FC reached it. In the 76th minute, Niceto Cucao hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leon Oidor took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lisandro Ekhi. Lisandro Ekhi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Lisandro Ekhi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jonatan Sotil went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. After 85 minutes of play, Compota FC's Jonatan Sotil made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lisandro Ekhi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Leon Oidor might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lisandro Ekhi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leon Oidor ran back to his position shaking his head. 90 minutes into the match, Jonatan Sotil notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Barrancas's Lisandro Ekhi. Lisandro Ekhi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Horacio Stephen hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leon Oidor in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lisandro Ekhi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. There was no doubt that Compota FC were the better team. Compota FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
