Spectators: 7216 (Terracing: 5413, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Alejo Javiero kicked off to start the match. After a defensive mix-up in Barrancas's zone, Herminio Nel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lisandro Ekhi came out of the goal and Herminio Nel tried to chip the ball over his head. In the 7th match minute, Pigüé was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiburcio Oihenarte to maneuver through the defense. 12 minutes into the match, Pigüé's goal looked a bit too open when Niceto Cucao came free, but Saul Ignazio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18thth minute of the game Herminio Nel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Barrancas's Lisandro Ekhi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Nemesio Telo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pigüé's supporters rose to their feet, but Nemesio Telo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lisandro Ekhi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bernabe Benet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lisandro Ekhi having to interfere. Bernabe Benet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anastasio Raymond came free with the goalkeeper in the 30th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Saul Ignazio could save by the left post. The supporters of Pigüé booed when Barrancas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Godfredo Gaizkine didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Herminio Nel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Herminio Nel scored 0-2 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lisandro Ekhi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match clock showed 55 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Herminio Nel sped through Barrancas's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lisandro Ekhi. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donato Tancredo in the 64th minute of play forced Barrancas's goalkeeper Lisandro Ekhi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cipriano Frederico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Lisandro Ekhi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Godfredo Gaizkine fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barrancas's protests and gave Godfredo Gaizkine a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Barrancas's Godfredo Gaizkine got a free kick in the 75th minute. Herminio Nel had several of the Barrancas's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 76 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-5 score and a disappointed Lisandro Ekhi as he didn't even see the shot coming. Alejo Javiero succeeded in the game's 80th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-5. Lisandro Ekhi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cipriano Frederico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bernabe Benet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91st minute, Anastasio Raymond hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Herminio Nel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 95th minute, Herminio Nel reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lisandro Ekhi. The goal made the score 1-6. Pigüé's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
