Spectators: 7047 (Terracing: 5394, Seating: 1653, VIP seats: 0) Aquilino Stephen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lorenzo Otsoa having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fermin Etxatxu in the 9th minute of play forced TUvieja's goalkeeper Teofilo Jenaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oscar Napier in the 11th minute of play forced Ardiles's goalkeeper Lorenzo Otsoa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 19 minutes of play, TUvieja's Oscar Napier made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lorenzo Otsoa was left in no man's land by his defense there! 27 minutes into the match, Ardiles's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Napier came free, but Lorenzo Otsoa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abelardo Hustaz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fermin Etxatxu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Teofilo Jenaro having to make a save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Oscar Napier stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Teofilo Jenaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aristides Telo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lorenzo Otsoa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Napier in the 54th minute of play. After a rather tough play, TUvieja's Victoriano Eleder got a free kick in the 57th minute. The Ardiles fans' excitement grew in the 59th match minute when Ardiles's Fermin Etxatxu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Fermin Etxatxu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ambrosio Erramun hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. In the 67th minute of the match Victoriano Eleder shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lorenzo Otsoa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Lorenzo Otsoa made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Aquilino Stephen sent off a good shot on target. In the 71st minute, Aristides Telo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Ardiles getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Venancio Micael hit a great ball. The attack was good, but when Oscar Napier in the 81st minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. If Abelardo Hustaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
