Spectators: 7185 (Terracing: 5391, Seating: 1652, VIP seats: 142) Benicio Francesco started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Lisandro Ekhi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benicio Francesco in the 6th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Anastasio Raymond hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ernesto Ongile had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 21 played minutes, Viamonte's Oscar Milian shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lisandro Ekhi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Viamonte reached it. Anastasio Raymond blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Astor Oriche having to make a save. 30 minutes into the game, Barrancas's Anastasio Raymond nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Astor Oriche made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After having played for 37 minutes, Alejo Javiero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barrancas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alejo Javiero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anastasio Raymond got free with Astor Oriche in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alejo Javiero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Astor Oriche having to interfere. After 41 minutes of play, Barrancas's Anastasio Raymond made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Astor Oriche was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alejo Javiero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 56 minutes, Anastasio Raymond managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barrancas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anastasio Raymond was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 70th minute, Erubiel Efraim left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Viamonte fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Barrancas's Lisandro Ekhi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benicio Francesco in the 74th minute of play. The Barrancas fans' excitement grew in the 76th match minute when Barrancas's Anastasio Raymond looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anastasio Raymond in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Astor Oriche saved Viamonte from getting behind. Astor Oriche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alejo Javiero in the 91st minute of play. Niceto Cucao received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Astor Oriche tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There was no doubt that Barrancas were the better team. Barrancas's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
