From a short distance, TUvieja's Oscar Napier, in the 3rd minute, tried to place the ball behind Ladislao Lon, but the ball hit the right post on the wrong side and went out. Gaston Hermon hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Oscar Napier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Ladislao Lon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 9 in the game by Aquilino Stephen from a close distance when the talented Ladislao Lon managed to make a qualified save. Rojo Locura's players were relieved. Aaron Marquez struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Teofilo Jenaro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rojo Locura. Teofilo Jenaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aaron Marquez in the 16th minute of play. Aquilino Stephen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Ladislao Lon made a huge save. If Oscar Napier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jacobo Sindo kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. After having played for 34 minutes, Aaron Marquez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rojo Locura's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aaron Marquez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to TUvieja getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Nereo Lucian hit a great ball. Aaron Marquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teofilo Jenaro having to interfere. Hermengildo Natal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aaron Marquez in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teofilo Jenaro saved TUvieja from getting behind. Ladislao Lon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicanor Berenguer in the 43rd minute of the match. Teofilo Jenaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aaron Marquez, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Oscar Napier to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 64th minute, Rojo Locura's Ezequiel Leoiar seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ezequiel Leoiar the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Rojo Locura protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ezequiel Leoiar had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 63rd minute, one of Rojo Locura:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Rojo Locura. 2-0 came in the 67th minute when Victoriano Eleder all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Ladislao Lon. After a defensive mix-up in Rojo Locura's zone, Oscar Napier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ladislao Lon came out of the goal and Oscar Napier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ladislao Lon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aquilino Stephen in the 72nd minute of the match. In the 75th minute, Hermengildo Natal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rojo Locura fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Teofilo Jenaro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hermengildo Natal went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Hermengildo Natal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rojo Locura's supporters rose to their feet, but Hermengildo Natal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teofilo Jenaro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ladislao Lon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oscar Napier, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Oscar Napier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ladislao Lon having to interfere. When Maximino Haitz fell near the penalty area in the 98th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rojo Locura's protests and gave Maximino Haitz a yellow card for diving instead. Maximino Haitz hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
