Fermin Etxatxu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Vicente Artizar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abelardo Hustaz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 26th minute, Vicente Artizar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vicente Artizar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Lorenzo Otsoa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Kentacky F.C.'s zone, Abelardo Hustaz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raimundo Bernat came out of the goal and Abelardo Hustaz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fermin Etxatxu made a kick off. With a little luck, Kentacky F.C.'s Raimundo Bernat got control of the ball when Abelardo Hustaz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Raimundo Bernat had great luck who in the 61stth minute grab hold of the ball when Fermin Etxatxu from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. After a rather tough play, Ardiles's Abelardo Hustaz got a free kick in the 65th minute. 73 minutes into the match, Kentacky F.C.'s goalkeeper Raimundo Bernat had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abelardo Hustaz. Vicente Artizar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aristides Telo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimundo Bernat having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Abelardo Hustaz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ardiles's supporters rose to their feet, but Abelardo Hustaz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raimundo Bernat breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luciano Lawrence hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Raimundo Bernat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fermin Etxatxu in the 85th minute of play. If Rafael Elija had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kentacky F.C.'s supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
