Tadeo Eneas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nemesio Telo went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. If Luis Handi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Herminio Nel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tadeo Eneas having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Herminio Nel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pigüé's supporters rose to their feet, but Herminio Nel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tadeo Eneas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Alonzo Orlan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 35 minutes into the match, Belgrano's goal looked a bit too open when Herminio Nel came free, but Tadeo Eneas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Venancio Maju stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Segundo Txilar's late challenge caught a Pigüé's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Segundo Txilar helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Belgrano's Segundo Txilar got a free kick in the 55th minute. Herminio Nel let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 59th minute shot 0-3 at rihgt post. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Herminio Nel put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Tadeo Eneas. Nemesio Telo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pigüé's Lucio Ongile got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Pigüé's goalkeeper Saul Ignazio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Belgrano's zone, Herminio Nel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tadeo Eneas came out of the goal and Herminio Nel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tadeo Eneas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herminio Nel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match was over Pigüé could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Belgrano throughout the match.
