Raimundo Bernat made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anastasio Raymond in the 3rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rafael Elija in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lisandro Ekhi saved Barrancas from getting behind. 15 minutes into the game, Niceto Cucao was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barrancas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kentacky F.C. the free kick. The supporters of Kentacky F.C. booed when Barrancas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niceto Cucao didn't get a good kick on the ball. German Tirso, 16 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Alejo Javiero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Raimundo Bernat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ariel Bento during the 22nd minute. A very good chance for a goal. Lisandro Ekhi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Elija in the 34th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 52nd minute, Vicente Artizar fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Lisandro Ekhi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Elija, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The tension between the Kentacky F.C. and the Barrancas players grew even worse after the yellow card. 74 minutes into the match, Kentacky F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Alejo Javiero came free, but Raimundo Bernat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute Alejo Javiero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raimundo Bernat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raimundo Bernat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alejo Javiero in the 79th minute of play. Lisandro Ekhi made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Vicente Artizar sent off a good shot on target. Lisandro Ekhi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Elija in the 87th minute of the match. 88 minutes into the game, Godfredo Gaizkine was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barrancas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kentacky F.C. the free kick. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Barrancas's goalkeeper Lisandro Ekhi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Raimundo Bernat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anastasio Raymond, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
