The crowd rose to their feet as Banfield Oeste's Florencio Ibañez slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Iker Balasi. That made the score 0-5 after 71 minutes of play. Iker Balasi was out of position in the 78 minute of play, and Florencio Ibañez capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Florencio Ibañez really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Florencio Ibañez took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Iker Balasi to make any attempt to save it. Iker Balasi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florencio Ibañez, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. 90 minutes in the game Abelardo Ur did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Clodoveo Emesto. In the 98th minute Clodoveo Emesto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iker Balasi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The La Pocha fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Banfield Oeste were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
