The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Maximino Martino during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Taquello getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Maximino Martino hit a great ball. 22 minutes into the match, Jonas Etor notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Los Reyes Locos's Rafael Oidor. Rafael Oidor was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jonas Etor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Oidor having to interfere. A collision led to Los Reyes Locos getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Igor Oso hit a great ball. 42 minutes into the game, Gustavo Lauro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los Reyes Locos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Taquello the free kick. After 42 played minutes Los Reyes Locos got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Lauro. In the 43rd minute of the match Ricardo Mirande shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rafael Oidor showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Gustavo Lauro kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. When Jonas Etor came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Taquello fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonas Etor couldn't finish the play. After the first half Taquello were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Prudencio Osmundo was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes Taquello got a freekick which was hit by Bernabe Oinatz. When Elias Theobald came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Taquello fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elias Theobald couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Los Reyes Locos booed when Taquello was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernabe Oinatz didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Los Reyes Locos's Rafael Oidor got control of the ball when Elias Theobald tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pastor Esiquio kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Hermengildo Domenec took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 66th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Melquiades Asteri. Taquello's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Bernabe Oinatz hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. In the 74th minute, Jonas Etor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jonas Etor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Oidor having to interfere. Eustacio Pierres hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. If Elias Theobald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonas Etor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96th minute Jonas Etor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Oidor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
