But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ruperto Niguel couldn't finish the play. Jonas Iztal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruperto Niguel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leonardo Gaufred charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leonardo Gaufred the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 26th minute of the game. One of Tango FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Talumuyuna AFC:s goal. The referee gave Talumuyuna AFC a penalty, 28 minutes into the game. Julian Baumer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Baudelio having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, Talumuyuna AFC could leave the field as winners, despite Tango FC having more of the ball for most of the match.
