In the 30th minute, Emanuel Tallia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ruperto Niguel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benigno Abaunza having to interfere. After 43 played minutes, Tango FC's Feliciano Dodorol shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Benigno Abaunza came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tango FC reached it. Ruperto Niguel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zacarias Tauro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Benigno Abaunza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruperto Niguel in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54th minute Tango FC were awarded a corner. Feliciano Dodorol went to the cornerflag to take it. When Emanuel Tallia came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Wolves Ch fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emanuel Tallia couldn't finish the play. Rigoberto Mercurio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Diego Baudelio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Tango FC booed when Wolves Ch was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ildefonso Erramun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tango FC were awarded a corner in the 73th minute after Wolves Ch's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Feliciano Dodorol took the corner. Tango FC's Diego Baudelio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Tango FC from getting a goal against them.
