After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Hector Tano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fullbobi's supporters rose to their feet, but Hector Tano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anselmo Benvido breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 17 minutes into the game, Hector Tano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Anselmo Benvido was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Gogo Arias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th match minute, CADU was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mariano Belmiro to maneuver through the defense. 42 minutes into the match, Fullbobi's goal looked a bit too open when Serafin Rufio came free, but Carmelo Che reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th minute Hector Tano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anselmo Benvido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Fullbobi were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Serafin Rufio made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector Tano in the 55th minute of play forced CADU's goalkeeper Anselmo Benvido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anselmo Benvido took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gonzalo Blanco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anselmo Benvido showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hector Tano, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Hector Tano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anselmo Benvido having to interfere. In the 83rd minute Nunez Hurko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anselmo Benvido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nunez Hurko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Anselmo Benvido made a huge save. Mariano Belmiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Carmelo Che tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hector Tano struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Anselmo Benvido didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fullbobi. When the match was over Fullbobi could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than CADU throughout the match.
