Generoso Fiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Machado in the 33rd minute of play. If Felix Eli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ezequiel Lauaxeta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amadeo Lazcano in the 38th minute. Parque Avellaneda's Ezequiel Lauaxeta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Parque Avellaneda from getting a goal against them. Felix Eli blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ezequiel Lauaxeta having to make a save.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emilio Machado was the one to do the kick off. Parque Avellaneda's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 57th minute, Marcelo Phelipe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manuel Paulin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benicio Lalla's late challenge caught a Axler Fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benicio Lalla helped the player get up and apologised. Benicio Lalla hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. There was no doubt that Axler Fc were the better team. Axler Fc's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
