When Jimeno Senin fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Matreros Fútbol Club's protests and gave Jimeno Senin a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Matreros Fútbol Club getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Jimeno Senin hit a great ball. Axler Fc's Generoso Fiz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Axler Fc from getting a goal against them. Matreros Fútbol Club's Aaron Gaxan suffered a sore thigh after 31 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonas Castulo during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 30th minute of the game. One of Axler Fc:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Matreros Fútbol Club:s goal. Amado Jaume shot the penalty kick right outside the post. In the 35th minute, Leonardo Chabier made a precise shot to the right of Generoso Fiz. Axler Fc's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Artemio Pepillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Matreros Fútbol Club's goalkeeper Evelio Jon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Manuel Paulin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Evelio Jon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Eli in the 88th minute of the match. 90 minutes into the game, Artemio Pepillo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Axler Fc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Matreros Fútbol Club the free kick.
