After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Eliseo Sandalio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Juancru FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eliseo Sandalio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hermengildo Crescencio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victoriano Kemen in the 8th minute of play forced Juancru FC's goalkeeper Daniel Lertxun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Adan Perpinya kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Daniel Lertxun. That made the score 1-0 in the 10 minute of play. Adan Perpinya struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Daniel Lertxun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sanford AFC. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Victoriano Kemen in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daniel Lertxun saved Juancru FC from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Juancru FC's Mauro Ayala got a free kick in the 28th minute. Adan Perpinya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Daniel Lertxun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 33rd minute of the match, Victoriano Kemen tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Daniel Lertxun saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 34th match minute, Juancru FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvano Hitzeder to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Juancru FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Fabian Oihan hit a great ball. Victoriano Kemen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Daniel Lertxun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juancru FC's Daniel Lertxun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victoriano Kemen in the 46th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Victoriano Kemen made a kick off. Adan Perpinya's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Daniel Lertxun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Julian Vidal kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Hermengildo Crescencio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonatan Unai in the 64th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Igor Cordarrell during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpected shot in the 69th minute by Jonatan Unai got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 71 minutes into the match, Victoriano Kemen notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Juancru FC's Daniel Lertxun. Daniel Lertxun was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hermengildo Crescencio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonatan Unai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Adan Perpinya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Lertxun stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Victoriano Kemen's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Sanford AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Juancru FC the free kick. Clodoveo Luzaide recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Sanford AFC had won after a very even match.
