Spectators: 7226 (Terracing: 5421, Seating: 1662, VIP seats: 143) Manju's Braulio Honesto started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gogo Pelayo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Urtsua in the 3rd minute of play. Juan Urre's late challenge caught a Parque Avellaneda's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Juan Urre helped the player get up and apologised. After 4 played minutes Manju got a freekick which was hit by Juan Urre. Gogo Pelayo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Urtsua in the 6th minute of play. Elvio Figueroa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ezequiel Lauaxeta having to interfere. Gogo Pelayo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emilio Machado's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. Emilio Machado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 15 played minutes Manju got a freekick which was hit by Donato Bakar. Emilio Machado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gogo Pelayo having to interfere. Gogo Pelayo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emilio Machado in the 23rd minute of the match. Gogo Pelayo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Urtsua, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Romulo Primeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Fernando Urtsua fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gogo Pelayo having to interfere. When Emilio Machado, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 33 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Gogo Pelayo was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Israel Jago managed to get in a good position for a shot. Parque Avellaneda's supporters rose to their feet, but Israel Jago was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gogo Pelayo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Manju's Iker Aires got a free kick in the 40th minute. 44 minutes into the match, Manju's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Urtsua came free, but Gogo Pelayo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gogo Pelayo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Urtsua, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emilio Machado made a kick off. Ezequiel Lauaxeta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Braulio Honesto in the 57th minute of play. Manju's Juan Urre got his second yellow card of the match in the 58th minute. The referee ordered Juan Urre off the ground. Fernando Urtsua recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gogo Pelayo made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Fernando Urtsua sent off a good shot on target. If Donato Bakar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anacleto Raymon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Gogo Pelayo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gogo Pelayo came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Parque Avellaneda's Fernando Urtsua. But to his dismay, Fernando Urtsua quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Emilio Machado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manju's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Emilio Machado 84 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emilio Machado in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gogo Pelayo saved Manju from getting behind. Manju's Gogo Pelayo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilio Machado in the 90th minute of play. Fernando Urtsua struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Gogo Pelayo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Parque Avellaneda. When the match was over Parque Avellaneda could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Manju throughout the match.
