When Jonathan Tiadoro came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Maderas AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonathan Tiadoro couldn't finish the play. Luciano Lia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Daniel Lertxun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 10th minute Jonatan Unai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ildefonso Moise saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Lertxun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luciano Lia, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Luciano Lia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25th minute Oscar Ursino suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The supporters of Juancru FC booed when Maderas AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucio Garin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ildefonso Moise made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Eliseo Sandalio sent off a good shot on target. Eliseo Sandalio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luciano Lia in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daniel Lertxun saved Juancru FC from getting behind. If Luciano Lia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind Juancru FC's goalkeeper Daniel Lertxun, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luciano Lia was the one to do the kick off. Juancru FC's Daniel Lertxun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luciano Lia in the 56th minute of play. A collision led to Juancru FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Fabian Oihan hit a great ball. 58 minutes into the match, Maderas AFC's Cleto Remicio broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Luciano Lia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Jonatan Unai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Maderas AFC's zone, Eliseo Sandalio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ildefonso Moise came out of the goal and Eliseo Sandalio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonathan Tiadoro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After recieving a nice pass, Maderas AFC's Cleto Remicio tried to score from far away in the 89th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonathan Tiadoro got free with Daniel Lertxun in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
