When Uriel Herena came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Coihueco AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Uriel Herena couldn't finish the play. Natalio Quinito kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. When Jonathan Benvide came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Coihueco AFC fans jumped to their feet. Uriel Herena took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marco Pello. Marco Pello dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Jonathan Benvide fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Pello having to interfere. In the 44th minute, Jonathan Benvide got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 46th match minute, Coihueco AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marciano Oalo to maneuver through the defense. 48 minutes into the game, Niceto Koldo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Coihueco AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cienaguita the free kick. After 49 played minutes Coihueco AFC got a freekick which was hit by Niceto Koldo. The Cienaguita players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Coihueco AFC were winning 0-1.

In the 54th minute, Jonas Cibran got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 57th minute, Alvaro Gomez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Donato Cutberto took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 58th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Desiderio Peio. Coihueco AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Marco Pello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Uriel Herena, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Jonathan Benvides short, quick shot in the 85thth minute got Marco Pello to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Uriel Herena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Marco Pello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind Coihueco AFC's goalkeeper Desiderio Peio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Benigno Belarmo came up free with the goalie in the 101st minute, the Cienaguita fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benigno Belarmo couldn't finish the play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Coihueco AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
