The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Paulo Laurin kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. In the 13th minute Rene Orlondo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnulfo Illan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnulfo Illan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rene Orlondo, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 19th minute, Celedonio Lucero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fassi AFC's Valentin Espiridion couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 19th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Carrizal FC. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Fassi AFC's goalkeeper Arnulfo Illan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 32nd minute, Rene Orlondo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Federico Remigio charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Federico Remigio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 35th minute, one of Fassi AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Fassi AFC. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Silvano Dalmau in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnulfo Illan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 47 played minutes, Carrizal FC's Elpidio Goito shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Arnulfo Illan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Carrizal FC reached it. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rene Orlondo to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Nestor Pero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rene Orlondo struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Arnulfo Illan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carrizal FC. Carrizal FC's Celedonio Lucero got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Paulo Laurin hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Silvano Dalmau managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carrizal FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Silvano Dalmau was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnulfo Illan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arnulfo Illan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rene Orlondo in the 64th minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Fassi AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Rene Orlondo came free, but Arnulfo Illan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carrizal FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rene Orlondo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carrizal FC's Silvano Dalmau got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arnulfo Illan was a little too slow when Rene Orlondo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 84th minute. The score was now 1-3. Arnulfo Illan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rene Orlondo, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Carrizal FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
