They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Rene Orlondo made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Rene Orlondo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Javier Perrando was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. When Cornelio Regis fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Reñico's protests and gave Cornelio Regis a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Carrizal FC booed when Reñico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cornelio Regis didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Evelio Lopez from long distance, 54 minutes into the match, got Javier Perrando's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Albano Dantel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65th minute Rene Orlondo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Javier Perrando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The attack was good, but when Silvano Dalmau in the 67th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rene Orlondo in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Javier Perrando prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Silvano Dalmau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Javier Perrando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rene Orlondo in the 76th minute of the match. In the 77th minute, Carrizal FC's Silvano Dalmau ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Javier Perrando. Javier Perrando yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rene Orlondo in the 82nd minute of play forced Reñico's goalkeeper Javier Perrando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rene Orlondo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Javier Perrando having to make a save. Reñico's German Lauro got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Albano Dantel struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Armando Nazario didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Reñico.
