Alberto Remir took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florentino Manni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 42 minutes into the match, Bernasconi FC's Florentino Manni sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alberto Remir narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alberto Remir stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ambrosio Kinsen's shot from short distance in the 47th minute.

Sixto Javiero was shown his second yellow card after 51 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Alberto Remir made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ambrosio Kinsen in the 54th minute. Elvio Eskuin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Eusebio Gaufred tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Florentino Manni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Remir having to interfere. If Elvio Eskuin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Elvio Eskuin managed to get in a good position for a shot. SAN JOSE DE YACUY's supporters rose to their feet, but Elvio Eskuin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eusebio Gaufred showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elvio Eskuin, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Alberto Remir took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florentino Manni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Bernasconi FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Bernasconi FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
