Nunez Domiku sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Arnulfo Chus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lisandro Laurendi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Baldomero Irrintzi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 16 minutes into the match, Zaramay Futbol Club's goalkeeper Baldomiro Oinaz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carmelo Loramendi. If Lisandro Laurendi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Zaramay Futbol Club's goalkeeper Baldomiro Oinaz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 24 minutes, Nunez Domiku managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zaramay Futbol Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nunez Domiku was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 26 minutes, Hipolito Lico mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cogote FC and the Zaramay Futbol Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hipolito Lico hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. 28 minutes into the match, Cogote FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lisandro Laurendi came free, but Arnulfo Chus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 29 minutes, Baldomero Irrintzi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cogote FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baldomero Irrintzi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 35 minutes into the game, Lisandro Laurendi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. A wasted opportunity for Zaramay Futbol Club. 0-2 became the score in the 43rd minute when Nunez Domiku elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Lisandro Laurendi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnulfo Chus having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lisandro Laurendi was the one to do the kick off. If Lisandro Laurendi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cogote FC were furious when Luciano Rolado was red carded, 58 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 57th minute, one of Cogote FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cogote FC. The goalkeeper, Arnulfo Chus, was totally fooled by Zaramay Futbol Club's Teodoro Iyan, who 60 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Zaramay Futbol Club's Baldomiro Oinaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carmelo Loramendi in the 65th minute of play. In the 68th match minute, Zaramay Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruperto Paskal to maneuver through the defense. Nunez Domiku sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 73 minutes, Lisandro Laurendi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zaramay Futbol Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lisandro Laurendi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Damaso Matthew kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Nunez Domiku's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arnulfo Chus read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Cogote FC's zone, Lisandro Laurendi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnulfo Chus came out of the goal and Lisandro Laurendi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 96 played minutes, Cogote FC's Pablo Boni shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Baldomiro Oinaz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cogote FC reached it. When the final whistle sounded Zaramay Futbol Club left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Cogote FC.
