In the 13th minute Feliberto Gumaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilfredo Bastian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Castaño FC's Feliberto Gumaro in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 30th match minute, Onzos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Segundo Tercero to maneuver through the defense. In the 32nd minute Fidel Nayely shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilfredo Bastian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd minute Feliberto Gumaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilfredo Bastian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isidoro Dunixi came out of the goal and Anibal Dimo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anibal Dimo made a kick off. Fidel Nayely received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Wilfredo Bastian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Feliberto Gumaro was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 54th minute. Castaño FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Dante Merexildo struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Wilfredo Bastian didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Castaño FC. Feliberto Gumaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Castaño FC's Fidel Nayely got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Dante Merexildo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wilfredo Bastian was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Dante Merexildo put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Wilfredo Bastian. Feliberto Gumaro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wilfredo Bastian having to make a save. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anibal Dimo couldn't finish the play. If Fidel Nayely had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th minute, Celestino Gerazan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Onzos's Wilfredo Bastian proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Onzos from getting a goal against them. Dionisio Guzman kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match.
