The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 2nd minute, Genaro Fernado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Benavidez's supporters rose to their feet, but Genaro Fernado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Justino Perfecto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Genaro Fernado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Justino Perfecto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 11 minutes into the match, 4 Elementos's goalkeeper Justino Perfecto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alejandro Tulio. Justino Perfecto was a little too slow when Alejandro Tulio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 11th minute. The score was now 1-0. Genaro Fernado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 24 played minutes Benavidez got a freekick which was hit by Haroldo Urdaspal. In the 27th minute, Aquilino Telesforo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in 4 Elementos's zone, Genaro Fernado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Justino Perfecto came out of the goal and Genaro Fernado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Genaro Fernado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justino Perfecto having to interfere. 41 minutes into the game, Genaro Fernado recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Justino Perfecto. Genaro Fernado showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Alejandro Tulio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Justino Perfecto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Genaro Fernado made the kick off in the second half. Americo Serafo charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Americo Serafo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to 4 Elementos getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Americo Serafo hit a great ball. Genaro Fernado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Justino Perfecto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benavidez's Alejandro Tulio got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Genaro Fernado took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Justino Perfecto. Justino Perfecto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. If Vladimiro Duarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Francisco Karlo during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Justino Perfecto had in the 78thth minute some difficulties stopping Florencio Inocente's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Benavidez fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 82nd minute. Penalty! Aquilino Telesforos short, quick shot in the 86thth minute got Nunez Cresenciano to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Vladimiro Duarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Nunez Cresenciano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 98th minute, Francisco Karlo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Genaro Fernado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 100th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
