The supporters of Cogote FC booed when Castaño FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Feliberto Gumaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fidel Nayely sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Castaño FC's goalkeeper Isidoro Dunixi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Arnulfo Chus stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fidel Nayely's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Cogote FC's Arnulfo Chus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Feliberto Gumaro in the 38th minute of play. Feliberto Gumaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arnulfo Chus didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fidel Nayely went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Feliberto Gumaro made a kick off. Feliberto Gumaro might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arnulfo Chus. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Feliberto Gumaro ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fidel Nayely in the 58th minute of play forced Cogote FC's goalkeeper Arnulfo Chus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute of the game, Dante Merexildo landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. The supporters of Castaño FC booed when Cogote FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damaso Matthew didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Fidel Nayely managed to get in a good position for a shot. Castaño FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fidel Nayely was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnulfo Chus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cogote FC's Carmelo Loramendi got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Hipolito Lico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fidel Nayely sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Castaño FC booed when Cogote FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Feliberto Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 76 played minutes Cogote FC got a freekick which was hit by Hipolito Lico. Fidel Nayely fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnulfo Chus having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Feliberto Gumaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fidel Nayely recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adrian Nuñez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Arnulfo Chus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee gave Castaño FC a penalty, 97 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Tomas Galtero, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Cogote FC's Arnulfo Chus. 2-0. Castaño FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
