In the 12thth minute of the game Ciriaco Orlan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bernasconi FC's Eusebio Gaufred was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 13th minute, Bernasconi FC's Miguel Charro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After some careless play in the Chelforó FC defense, Florentino Manni kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Justo Tartalo. The Chelforó FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Justo Tartalo should have stopped the shot. In the 22nd minute Ciriaco Orlan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eusebio Gaufred saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Gilberto Duardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chelforó FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gilberto Duardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eusebio Gaufred breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Lucas Terciero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Bernasconi FC's Eusebio Gaufred proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Bernasconi FC from getting a goal against them. The Bernasconi FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Chelforó FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
