After 14 played minutes, Sakachispas's Amado Rius shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aureliano Chayo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sakachispas reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosme Tebaldo in the 18th minute of play forced Holmberg FC's goalkeeper Aureliano Chayo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ladislao Terciero kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Dalmacio Ovando hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Aureliano Chayo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gerardo Salvidor went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Aureliano Chayo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cosme Tebaldo in the 33rd minute of the match. Aureliano Chayo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cosme Tebaldo in the 35th minute of play. Cleto Romelio's late challenge caught a Sakachispas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cleto Romelio helped the player get up and apologised. Cleto Romelio kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. In the 48th minute Cosme Tebaldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aureliano Chayo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cosme Tebaldo to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gerardo Salvidor in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aureliano Chayo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Cosme Tebaldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rdth minute of the game Gerardo Salvidor who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Holmberg FC's Aureliano Chayo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aureliano Chayo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerardo Salvidor, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 73rd minute, Cleto Romelio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
