Spectators: 6680 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1680, VIP seats: 0) Baltasar Nevada made the kick off and thus started the match. Matias Monte came free in the 11th minute and tried to tip the ball over Herminio Nataniel, but to the joy of RB Salzburgo's supporters the ball hit the crossbar and out. Matias Favila might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cristian Cutberto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Matias Favila ran back to his position shaking his head. Cristian Cutberto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fidel Chesus, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Evelio Quilo took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cristian Cutberto. Cristian Cutberto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 30th minute Baltasar Nevada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herminio Nataniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fidel Chesus's late challenge caught a Sauce AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fidel Chesus helped the player get up and apologised. RB Salzburgo's Matias Favila got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 38th minute, Nemesio Nastasio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cristian Cutberto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fidel Chesus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 41 minutes, Matias Favila managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RB Salzburgo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matias Favila was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fidel Chesus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Matias Favila to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sauce AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fidel Chesus was slow to take the kick. During this time RB Salzburgo's players had a chance to rest. Fidel Chesus made a great header on RB Salzburgo's corner, it was just that Sauce AFC's Cristian Cutberto managed to reach the ball for a save. If Fidel Chesus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Zeledon Amaya recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 68 minutes into the match, Sauce AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Matias Favila came free, but Cristian Cutberto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Fidel Chesus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zeledon Amaya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristian Cutberto having to interfere. In the 75th minute Fidel Chesus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Cutberto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matias Favila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Cristian Cutberto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sauce AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 79th minute, when Matias Favila scored to the left of an out of position Cristian Cutberto, making the score, 0-2. With an all-out effort, RB Salzburgo's Cristian Cutberto threw himself towards the right post 83 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Matias Favila, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Cristian Cutberto was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Matias Favila showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 85 minute of play. After 88 played minutes Matias Favila rounded Sauce AFC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-4. After 95 minutes, Ciriaco Ferdinand mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sauce AFC and the RB Salzburgo players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 95 played minutes Sauce AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ciriaco Ferdinand. RB Salzburgo played a much better game than Sauce AFC and deserved their victory. The Sauce AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
