Spectators: 6802 (Terracing: 5402, Seating: 1380, VIP seats: 20) Analistas FC's Severiano Llorienzo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Holmberg FC's Aureliano Chayo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severiano Llorienzo in the 4th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severiano Llorienzo in the 6th minute of play forced Holmberg FC's goalkeeper Aureliano Chayo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Analistas FC's Aristides Aimar got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aristides Aimar's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Aureliano Chayo firmly grabbed it by the left post. Aureliano Chayo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severiano Llorienzo in the 21st minute of play. Holmberg FC's attentive Cleto Romelio managed to snatch the ball when Primitivo Evangelista made a throw-in in the 25th minute of the game. Aureliano Chayo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Tebaldo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cleto Romelio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Basilio Jurdan hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. 36 minutes into the game, Basilio Jurdan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Analistas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Holmberg FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Analistas FC's Basilio Jurdan got a free kick in the 36th minute. Aureliano Chayo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Severiano Llorienzo's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. A collision led to Analistas FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Basilio Jurdan hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Dalmacio Ovando made the kick off in the second half. Aristides Aimar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Aureliano Chayo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severiano Llorienzo in the 55th minute of play. Aureliano Chayo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aristides Aimar, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Aureliano Chayo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aristides Aimar's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. 63 minutes into the game, Analistas FC's Severiano Llorienzo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aureliano Chayo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. After 65 played minutes Analistas FC got a freekick which was hit by Basilio Jurdan. Aureliano Chayo came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Analistas FC's Aristides Aimar. But to his dismay, Aristides Aimar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aristides Aimar in the 73rd minute of play forced Holmberg FC's goalkeeper Aureliano Chayo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Aristides Aimar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aureliano Chayo. Holmberg FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aristides Aimar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. 83 minutes into the match, Holmberg FC's goal looked a bit too open when Severiano Llorienzo came free, but Aureliano Chayo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aristides Aimar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 91st minute Aristides Aimar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aureliano Chayo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Severiano Llorienzo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 94 minutes of play, Analistas FC's Aristides Aimar made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aureliano Chayo was left in no man's land by his defense there!
