Aureliano Chayo came out of the goal and Atilano Paio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Dalmacio Ovando fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Holmberg FC's protests and gave Dalmacio Ovando a yellow card for diving instead. Czech Republic's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
