After a rather tough play, Sauce AFC's Zeledon Gaxan got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Damian Serapio charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Damian Serapio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Ricardo Tebaldo fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Analistas FC's protests and gave Ricardo Tebaldo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Analistas FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Aristides Aimar hit a great ball. 30 minutes into the match, Epifanio Karlo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ulises Maore. Analistas FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Epifanio Karlo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 33rdth minute of the game Severiano Llorienzo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sauce AFC's Cristian Cutberto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 35 minutes, Baltasar Nevada managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sauce AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baltasar Nevada was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Epifanio Karlo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulises Maore having to interfere. Aristides Aimar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristian Cutberto having to interfere. Cristian Cutberto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severiano Llorienzo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Sauce AFC's zone, Aristides Aimar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristian Cutberto came out of the goal and Aristides Aimar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half Sauce AFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Ciro Clodio hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. If Severiano Llorienzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aristides Aimar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Cristian Cutberto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sauce AFC's goalkeeper Cristian Cutberto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Aristides Aimar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aristides Aimar in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristian Cutberto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ulises Maore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baltasar Nevada in the 72nd minute of the match. Analistas FC's Ulises Maore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baltasar Nevada in the 74th minute of play. After 76 played minutes Analistas FC got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Evangelista. Epifanio Karlo might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ulises Maore. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Epifanio Karlo ran back to his position shaking his head. Baltasar Nevada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th minute Severiano Llorienzo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Cutberto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severiano Llorienzo in the 96th minute of play forced Sauce AFC's goalkeeper Cristian Cutberto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
