Czech Republic's Venancio Estebe got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Atilano Paio in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcos Hegoi saved Nuevaferri from getting behind. After 14 played minutes Nuevaferri got a freekick which was hit by Leon Ponzio. Venancio Estebe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rigoberto Ur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raul Matia, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. 23 minutes into the match, Czech Republic's goal looked a bit too open when Raul Matia came free, but Rigoberto Ur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rigoberto Ur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raul Matia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rigoberto Ur had great luck who in the 29thth minute grab hold of the ball when Raul Matia from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 31st minute Atilano Paio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Hegoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rigoberto Ur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raul Matia in the 34th minute of play. In the 34th match minute, Czech Republic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamin Chucho to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Raul Matia made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Nuevaferri's Paulo Gelacio got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 56th minute of the match Czech Republic got a corner. Nuevaferri's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Virgilio Danel ran over to the corner to take the kick. If Venancio Estebe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcos Hegoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atilano Paio in the 63rd minute of play. In the 64th match minute, Czech Republic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virgilio Danel to maneuver through the defense. Alfonso Honrio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rigoberto Ur having to interfere. A collision led to Czech Republic getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Humberto Argoitz hit a great ball. 70 minutes into the match, Nuevaferri's Marco Playo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Czech Republic's Atilano Paio got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 92nd minute, Venancio Estebe fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When Czech Republic's Atilano Paio in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nuevaferri's goalie prevented a goal.
